2025 Commercial Real Estate Industry Shows Growing Confidence

A new ray of hope is emerging in the commercial real estate sector, according to Deloitte’s 2025 commercial real estate outlook survey.

After weathering two challenging years of reduced revenues and conservative spending, industry leaders are signaling a potential turnaround on the horizon.

  • The shift in sentiment is striking – 88% of global respondents anticipate revenue growth in the coming year, marking a dramatic reversal from the previous year when 60% had predicted further declines.
  • Even more telling, a majority (60%) of those surveyed expect robust growth exceeding 5% year over year.

While these optimistic projections come against the backdrop of subdued financial performance across the real estate sector, the marked change in outlook suggests industry executives see brighter days ahead. This widespread confidence, despite recent challenges, may indicate a significant turning point for the commercial real estate market.
